A little update reference the Tri-Kis. The propeller has now been fitted and I carried out the initial flight testing. I was astounded with the figures that I got. Even to the point of reconsidering the sale of the plane
Here are some of the figures at 2000ft and the take off run with 1 on board was 350-400 m OAT 27 Deg C reaching over 1000ft per min (exact figure to follow)
2300rpm – 140 kts – 23 ltrs ph lean
The aircraft flew very nicely indeed with no vibration. It was so smooth that you could hear even the slightest rumble from the engine if it was leaned too much. There is a huge difference in performance and it’s more economical as you can see from the figures above.
